Students are welcome to negotiate their own balance of assignments, and to tailor their seminar work to their central scholarly and pedagogical interests. Please approach me if you would like to propose a modified assessment structure. Otherwise, the assignment and grading structure will look like this:
Two credits: regular blog and in-class assignments (100% of the grade).
Three credits: regular blog assignments (20%), in-class assignments (20%), and an 8-10-page paper (60%).
Four credits: a 20-page seminar paper (60%), regular blog assignments (20%), and in-class assignments (20%).
